It's always tricky to know when to approach Barolo. It's a wine which needs a little time to soften, but the Alasia is more modern in style, so you can rest assured that it's drinking well now if you fancy a glass! It's expressive, with classic floral aromas backed up by dark plum, leather, spice and notes of woodsmoke. All balanced by ripe tannins, complex savoury notes and a long finish.
